Facebook accused of CENSORSHIP after it bans the word BREXIT from comedy advert express.co.uk
The social media giant was accused yesterday of over-reacting after a comedian was told he couldn’t promote his show ‘Brexit Through The Gift Shop’. In order to clamp down on political interference on its platform, the US company has taken the drastic measure following the backlash it faced over supposed Russian interference in the US election. Creator of the programme and comedian Matt Forde was told that the title of his show breached new rules on advertisement concerning politics and “issues of national importance”.
