Jazz Fest replacement, Part 2: Rolling Stones' sub Fleetwood Mac pull out due to illness youtu.be
Medical matters have forced another scheduling shuffle at New Orleans' annual Jazz Fest, with Fleetwood Mac bowing out due to Stevie Nicks' illness. Just last week, the renowned band agreed to fill the May 2 spot vacated by The Rolling Stones because of Mick Jagger's medical treatment. (Jagger's rep said he is expected to make a full recovery.) The Stones, scheduled to headline as part of the festival's 50th anniversary, recently postponed their No Filter Tour, which had been scheduled to start April 20. Jazz Fest organizers wasted no time filling the latest vacancy, announcing later Monday that Widespread Panic would take Fleetwood Mac's place.
