How To Pronounce Zara And Mike Tindall’s New Baby’s Name
Just over a week ago, the Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, and her husband, Mike, welcomed their second baby girl into their family. Today, royal fans were delighted to hear that the couple had officially chosen a name for their new daughter: Lena Elizabeth Tindall.
Lena is of Greek origin and means light, and the moniker Elizabeth is a nod to Zara’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and many other royal women who also share the same middle name — including Princess Charlotte, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Princess Anne, Zara’s mother.
While everyone is certainly excited to have another royal baby join the family this year, the pronunciation of the new little one’s name is, once again, stumping some folks. Just like how Louis can have two pronunciations, Lena can also be Lee-na or Lay-na.
