A40 traffic: A40 closed due to horror crash – six MILES of gridlock express.co.uk

THE A40 has been closed due to a crash between a van and a lorry, with six miles of tailbacks reported. The crash has resulted in huge delays in the areas, with motorists reporting travel time of almost an hour to travel six miles. The crash occurred at around 5.30am this morning but long delays remain in the area, near the Polish War Memorial. The vehicles are still blocking the eastbound carriage into London.
