But the pint-sized popstar reportedly got paid the big bucks to take the primetime slot, after agreeing to stand in for Kanye West during last minute negotiations. According to Variety, Ariana pocketed a whopping $8million (£6,111,280) for the two performances, which is almost double what a traditional artist was paid ($3-5 million) in 2017.
