Fans don't have to wait long for the next Battlefield 5 DLC to be launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

In new patch news shared today, DICE revealed their plans to launch their first piece of free Battlefield 5 content in the coming hours.

The Tides of War expansion was supposed to go live earlier this week but was delayed at the last minute due to technical issues with the patch.

Now, the new Battlefield 5 update has a set time for launch, although each platform will see it arrive differently.

Today’s update will bring a number of bugfixes to the all platforms, along with fresh content to play.

DICE has confirmed that this update adds a new War Story titled The Last Tiger, a brand new multiplayer map called Panzerstorm, and a Practice Range where you can hone your skills
