Boris Johnson is reportedly still living in the taxpayer funded Foreign Office house despite resigning from the role 12 days ago.

The former Foreign Secretary is said to be living rent free in the £20 million mansion while netting thousands renting out a house just four miles away.Johnson is also set for a £17,000 payoff after stepping down as Foreign Secretary over Theresa May’s Brexit plans earlier this month.

MPs are up in arms over his refusal to move from the multi-million pound One Carlton Gardens, demanding he ‘pack his bags and move on’. Stephen Doughty told the Mirror: ‘It is extraordinary that Boris is still living it up in a grace-and-favour residence while profiting from renting out his own property.

‘It’s high time the Government take back control of this property from this failed former Foreign Secretary.
