Government papers directly contradict what the PM has said in public.
The revelations were made in Scottish court papers as part of a hearing designed to ensure Mr Johnson does not allow us to crash out of the EU in a ‘damaging no-deal Brexit’ at the end of the month. Opponents of a no-deal Brexit went to the Court of Session in Edinburgh in a bid to ‘remind Boris Johnson that he is not above the law.’
