Canary Wharf fire: HUGE blaze rips through Barclays building in London financial hub express.co.uk
MASSIVE plumes of smoke were seen billowing out of the Barclays building in Canary Wharf in London this morning after an air conditioning unit in the skyscraper caught fire. The London Fire Brigade and the Met Police were called following the vast plumes of smoke which could be seen atop the London skyscraper. A video was released showing black smoke blowing across the skyline. A London Fire Brigade spokeswoman confirmed to Express.co.uk fire engines were called to the scene at 12.39am and the fire was under control by 01.58am.
