Triumphant Jeremy Corbyn tore into Theresa May tonight over the Tories’ election disaster as the Commons met for the first time since polling day.

The Labour leader told his MPs he would campaign in 60 Conservative-held marginal seats to push for victory at the next election.

And he revealed 35,000 people have joined the Labour party in the five days since last week's shock result.
