Cruises: Celebrity Edge Groundbreaking New Ship Revealed With ‘magic Carpet’ Dining express.co.uk
The new ship, called Celebrity Edge, will be able to carry over 2,900 guests at one time, with the launch next month by activist Malala Yousafzai.
With the first voyage taking place on December 4, passengers can enjoy plunge pools and an outdoor rooftop garden during their holiday.
The all glass venue is suspended on the side of the ship, where guests can enjoy panoramic views while dining.
It can also move up and down the 14 decks with ease, creating the magic carpet effect.
There is also the Eden space onboard, with has three decks of plants measuring 18 feet tall.
Passengers wanting to travel with the cruise liner on their nine-night holidays around the Caribbean can book their first trip to commence on December 9.
Prices including flights start from £3,429 per person.
The interior design was created by Kelly Hoppen MBE who designed the cabins and rooms onboard.

“Taking luxury cruising to a new level, the ship has been four years in the planning, design and build.
“Through collaboration with world renowned designers and architects, we have reimagined what it means to holiday at sea and can’t wait for the world to experience it.”
Royal Caribbean also revealed their newest ship, which can hold nearly 6,000 guests as the largest in the world.
The Symphony of the Seas made it’s US debut earlier this week in Miami, with facilities to welcome 5,510 passengers during any voyage,
