DEBBIE MCGEE, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing alongside Giovanni Pernice last year, revealed she used to give her late husband Paul Daniels pocket money as she admitted the couple were not as wealthy as people believed.

Former Strictly Come Dancing favourite Debbie McGee, 59, revealed she was in charge of the couple’s finances and insisted she controlled his spending.

She told the Daily Mail: “I paid the bills, sorted it out. I gave him pocket money.

“Well, not quite, but sort of. We didn’t have the same tastes, but we consulted. Ultimately, though I tended to get my way.”
