MPs take back control of Brexit with more votes to beat Theresa May’s deal metro.co.uk
Theresa May will once again lose control of the Brexit agenda as MPs hold a new series of votes to find an alternative to her withdrawal deal. The Commons will stage the second round of ‘indicative’ votes on Monday on a series of rival proposals tabled by backbenchers to see if any can command a majority. All eight alternatives were rejected by MPs in the first round of voting last week, with the Prime Minister facing warnings members of her Cabinet could walk out if ‘soft Brexit’ options are accepted today.
