1. This prize draw is open to readers aged 50 years or over. The prize can only be redeemed by a person over the age of 50 and a travelling companion over the age of 40 (please read term 8 for qualifying age criteria). Proof of age may be required for prize validation.

2. No employees from Reach plc, Saga or any other companies involved in the running or funding of the prize draw may enter this prize draw.

3. The prize draw opens at 00.01 on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 and closes at 23.59 on Monday December 31, 2018.

4. To enter this Prize Draw please text ‘SAGA’ to 84902. SMS text messages will be charged at your standard network rate. Once you have entered, you will then receive an SMS text message back that will state that you will have one hour to opt out of the £5 donation if you choose not to donate. Your competition entry will still be valid. If you do not opt out within the hour, a £5 text message charge will be taken as a charity donation and 100 per cent of these donations will go to The Silver Line, registered charity no. 1147330 England & Wales SC044467 Scotland. 5. Up to three entries per person are permitted. Each SMS text entry is the cost of one standard network rate message, and as outlined above, each entry will make a £5 donation to The Silver Line (registered charity no. 1147330 England & Wales SC044467 Scotland), unless you opt out in response to each of the SMS text messages that you receive. Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will not be counted but still may be charged. Entries exceeding the maximum number of three entries per person will also be charged per SMS text message received, but only up to a maximum of three entries will be counted.

6. One winner will be selected at random by an independent person, on Monday, January 7, 2019 from all eligible entries received during the promotional period. The winner will be notified by telephone by 5pm on this date.

7. The winner will receive a cruise for two people sharing a cabin on-board the Saga Sapphire during its Celestial Canaries cruise. The cruise departs from Dover on Thursday, March 14, 2019 calling at Funchal, La Palma, San Sebastian, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Portugal before returning to Southampton. The cruise includes all on-board meals and snacks, daily afternoon tea, a choice of wines at lunch and dinner 24-hour room service, selected wines, Saga house branded spirits, cocktails containing Saga house branded spirits, draught beer and lager, non-alcoholic cocktails, all mixers and soft drinks, all on-board tips and bar service charges, complimentary wi-fi and porterage of luggage at the port.

8. Age qualification for prize redemption: Saga holidays are for anyone aged 50 and over. A travelling companion may be aged 40 or over.

9. Winners are responsible for making their own transport arrangements to Dover and from Southampton, and it is the winner’s responsibility to ensure their passports are valid and in-date for the full duration of the cruise.

10. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

11. If foul play is suspected, or the winners redeeming the prize do not fall in to the qualifying age criteria as outlined in term 8 are not met, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner, without any dispute being entered in to.

12. The promoter’s decision is final.

13. If any of the prize becomes unavailable for circumstances outside of Reach plc’s control, suitable alternatives will be found for the winner.
