The iconic Opera House, which is situated on Brigade Road in Bengaluru has transformed into a delight for the eyes. The 33,000 sq ft venue, which was a theatre in its golden days has undergone a glamorous makeover: it's now a very spiffy looking space for Samsung to showcase its wares. It looks something like a beautiful museum from the future where tech gadgets are displayed. Or think of it as the chocolate factory from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but for geeks.

The Mobile Experience Centre comes on the heels of Samsung launching the world's biggest mobile phone-manufacturing factory in Noida in July. These ventures are a part of Samsung's commitment to the 'Make in India' initiative.

The facility also aims to become the 'it place' for hosting events like stand-up comics and musical performances. The facility will also have a fully functional customer service centre and is equipped with high-speed public Wi-Fi.
