BREXIT secretary Dominic Raab was not impressed with a ‘joke’ about the clashes over scallops between French and English fishermen at a lunch with Michel Barnier, according to a report of the pair’s meeting last week.

Mr Raab did not find it funny when scallops were served for the working lunch with the EU’s chief Brexit negotiator Mr Barnier as the pair work to reach a deal between the UK and the EU ahead of November’s deadline, the Times reported today.
