Speedboat killer Jack Shepherd agrees to be extradited to the UK metro.co.uk
A man who killed his date while on a speedboat on the Thames before fleeing the UK has agreed to be extradited to the UK. Jack Shepherd, 31, fled to Georgia after being found guilty of the death of Charlotte Brown, 24. He now wants to return to the UK so that he can launch an appeal against his conviction. Shepherd is currently in prison in the Georgia’s capital city Tbilisi where he has been held since handing himself in. He killed Charlotte in December 2015 but went on to lie about capsizing the speedboat they were in. He tried to blame Charlotte for her own death, saying she was at the wheel when the boat capsized and flipped. However, a witness said she saw him alone in the boat after the crash while watching from her balcony in her riverside flat.
