Three spectators fainted watching matches at Wimbledon as Londoner’s sweltered in the scorching heat. Two of the tennis fans were watching Juan Martin Del Potro and Ernests Gulbis when they took ill as temperatures soared to 31C. Play was suspended for about 20 minutes on court three while St John Ambulance staff took them from the stands for treatment.
