UK FOG: Britain covered in ‘radiation fog’ – 'Don't be FOOLED by summery weather!' express.co.uk
BRITAIN is set to be covered in radiation fog this morning, with misty conditions to continue through the week. Temperatures dropped overnight with fog expected in several areas. The Met Office said fog could strike again and again during the next 48 hours. They said: “Today early fog patches will soon clear, with sunny spells developing for many. “Tuesday, any early fog will clear, to give a largely sunny day. “It will feel warm once again, although it will be cloudy at times for the far northwest. “After early fog on Wednesday, it will be mild, with sunny spells. “It will become less mild and unsettled from Thursday though, with some heavy showers possible. The foggy weather has sparked travel warnings. RAC Breakdown spokesman Rod Dennis said: “Drivers setting out early in the morning shouldn't be fooled by the recent 'summery' weather – the mornings are still cool, and fog can make driving difficult. “Being seen by other drivers is as important as trying to get a good view of the road ahead, so it's important to remember to use a car's fog lights properly – switch them on in foggy conditions, but turn them straight off again once out of the fog to avoid dazzling others.”
