UK weather: Met office warn of weekend SNOW after two inches of rain tomorrow mirror.co.uk

Part of the UK could be hit with snow this weekend, while the Met Office are reporting a deluge of rain for some tomorrow. While predictions for some areas are for milder weather than we've seen so far in March, the mercury could drop below freezing as we move into the weekend. Parts of middle England and rural Scotland could see temperatures of -1C or -2C, with snow falling on higher ground. Sara Thornton, director of digital weather company Weathertrening said: "It will be down to freezing in some parts of the heart of England, maybe -1C and 2C or so in rural Scotland.
