If Theresa May's Brexit deal is rejected by parliament there are a number of ways forward. Here we lay out the options and a champion for each route makes their case.
The Norway Option:
The Norway option would leave the UK in the EU single market and accepting free movement of people. Its proponents divide into several camps. One says that the UK would also need to join a customs union with the EU to avoid a hard border in Ireland, as well as enter a new negotiation with the EU after the Withdrawal Agreement was ratified. Others think it would be simpler.
