Woolwich ‘Arson’: Woman Dies In ‘Suspicious’ Housefire As Police Launch Investigation mirror.co.uk

A woman has died in a suspected arson attack in Woolwich in the early hours of today. Emergency services were called to Berber Parade near the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at 1.23am today to reports of a fire at a residential address. The body of a woman, believed to be in her 40s, was found inside.

The fire has been extinguished and detectives want to hear from people in the area who may have seen something suspicious before it broke out. A statement from Scotland Yard said: “Two other people from the property, a man in his sixties and a woman in her fifties, have been taken to hospital for treatment of injuries.
